✨CASA ROSADA✨ 🇦🇷Dominating the Plaza de ✨CASA ROSADA✨

🇦🇷Dominating the Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada - or pink house - is the seat of the Argentine national government and houses the president's office.
🔸Witness to much of the city's history, it was from the balconies of the Casa Rosada that Juan and “Evita” Perón addressed the masses during the late 1940s and early 1950s.
🔹The Casa Rosada was constructed on the site of a fort established by the Spanish in 1580 and used by the Spanish colonial viceroys.
After independence, the fort was redeveloped into a customs house by British architect Edward Taylor, and later, in 1862, the building was chosen by President Bartolomé Mitre to be the seat of his government.
✴️His successor Domingo Faustino Sarmiento later expanded the building and is believed to have ordered it to be painted pink in an attempt to diffuse political tensions by mixing the colours of the opposing political parties (the Federals used red, while the Unitarians used white).
Another popular explanation for the building's distinctive colour is that it was at one painted with cows' blood as an alternative to paint because paint pealed in the humidity.
The central archway was designed by Italian architect Francisco Tamburini, who was also responsible for the original design of the Colón Theatre, and was completed in 1890.✨

✨EL ATENEO GRAN SPLENDID✨ 📚According to Br ✨EL ATENEO GRAN SPLENDID✨

📚According to British newspaper The Guardian, El Ateneo Grand Splendid is the second best bookstore in the world.📙
✴️It preserves the splendour and elegance of the former Gran Splendid theatre/cinema, which was designed by architects Peró and Torres Armengol.
📍Located in the Recoleta neighbourhood, El Grand Spendid theatre opened in 1919 and immediately became a beacon of Porteño culture, hosting ballet, opera, and the first "talkies" shown in Buenos Aires.🇦🇷
🔹The national Odeon record label - now owned by EMI - was based here, and singers such as Carlos Gardel recorded on the premises.
The venue even gave birth to its own radio station, LR4 Radio Splendid, which began transmitting from the building in 1923.
🔸The venue was converted into a bookstore in the year 2000, beautifully preserving the original decoration, including the dome, which was painted with frescoes by Italian Nazareno Orlandi.
The store stocks around 120,000 books and there is a bar on what was the stage area of the theatre, where you can drink a coffee while reading.📚
There are comfy chairs around the shop, making browsing for books here a real pleasure. The basement is dedicated to children's books, and the upper floor is used for exhibitions and displays.✴️

NOTABLE BARS OF BUENOS AIRES. ✨✨LA BIELA✨✨ NOTABLE BARS OF BUENOS AIRES.
✨✨LA BIELA✨✨

📍Located at the corner of Junin st. and Quintana ave., one of the most beautiful corners of the Recoleta neighborhood, one hundred meters away from the Pilar Church and the Cemetery, this Notable Bar has been a meeting place for several generations of Argentines.🇦🇷
📝Intellectuals such as Jorge Luis Borges, Adolfo Bioy Casares, Silvina Ocampo passed through its tables.
✴️La Biela has a long history: it first worked as a small bar, on a narrow sidewalk with only 18 tables, and was called “La Viridita”. Later they changed the name to “Aerobar”, in homage to the neighboring civilian pilots in the area.
🔹And, in 1950, the story took another turn because a group of friends who liked speed broke their car's connecting rod right on that corner.
☕So they got out of the vehicle to have a coffee there and adopted it as their place. So much so that they began to call it La Biela Fundida (The cast rod)
Finally, La Biela remained as its official name.✨
At the table that is right on the corner of Junín and Quintana, you will find the life-size statues of Jorge Luis Borges and Adolfo Bioy Casares, made by the sculptor Fernando Pugliese.📸

⚽The work, which is 6 meters wide by 5 meters high, begins with a "Maradona Cebollitas", a humble boy who says he dreams of winning a World Cup🏆, passing through a Maradona with the fusion of the shirts of the first division clubs with whom he played, and closes in its center with a Maradona who lifts the world cup, as the Argentines 🇦🇷and the world like to remember him.🙌

✨Route of the Puna - 👀Ojos de Mar: 🔹Throu ✨Route of the Puna - 👀Ojos de Mar:

🔹Through spectacular landscapes and towns frozen in time, the route de la Puna invites you to discover one of the most surprising regions of South America with scenarios that seem from another planet.
About 5 km before reaching Tolar Grande, in Ojos de Mar (sea eyes) the ocher colors of the Andean plain mix with the blue-green of the waters.✴️
There are 3️⃣ lagoons of volcanic origin 🌋 in the middle of a white salt flat whose color varies, depending on the sunlight, between turquoise and green.
It is estimated that the water in the lagoons is 4 times saltier than that of the ocean.😯
It is also a site of scientific importance because it allows the study of the origin of life by communities of stromatolites.✨

🔸The sculptures of the Pómez Stone Field are the product of erosion over thousands of years.
🚐The ways to get there are vehicle 4×4, high mountain bikes 🚲, quad bikes, respecting the indications on the footprints and roads enabled.
Once in the countryside, the car is parked and walked. The promenade has several circuits, such as "Giants of Pómez Stone", "La Lagunita Escondida" and "Balcones de Laguna Purulla".📸
